    DARKNESS CANNOT STOP THE LIGHT!

    When I first began this ministry I spoke in churches all over America, warning
    of the moral landslide to come. I told people in Iowa, Oklahoma and all the
    Southern states that drugs would strike even the smallest hamlet. Pushers would
    appear in schools and on playgrounds. I warned of blatant homosexuality, with
    nude parades taking place in our cities, and I prophesied that nudity and
    sexual acts would air on prime-time television.

    Many people who heard me preach thought I had come from Mars. Pastors berated
    me and sincere Christians came to me saying, “No way! God will never let that
    happen in America.” Today, some of those people are grandparents. They sit
    before their TV watching the R-rated movies I prophesied about and their
    grandchildren are addicted to drugs and alcohol. The darkness I warned about
    has now come.

    I had a dream a couple of nights ago.  The dream was about a courtroom and a trial ongoing.  The judge was God.  The bench where He was sitting was raised higher, like other judges' benches, but you couldn’t see the top of this one; it just kept going up.  I couldn’t see God, but I knew that He was there.
     
    The prosecutor/accuser was Satan.  The defender was Jesus.  My husband was there in the prisoners' dock, as he was the one on trial.  I was there as a witness.
     
    Jesus asked me if I had forgiven my husband for everything that he had done.  I answered that, yes, I had, and that I had prayed for him.
     
    It was then Satan's turn to question me.  He asked me a lot of questions.  He made a lot of accusations.  He was trying very hard to rattle me.  I answered him quite firmly, calmly and confidently.  I knew this confidence was not from ...

    Your greatest victory is just like what Joshua the high priest experienced in Zechariah 3. You stand there and let the LORD clothe you in righteousness while the devil is at your right hand resisting you all the way.

    Jesus taught us who we are in the beatitudes. "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." You are salt. You are light.     THEIR LANGUAGE IS PRAISE

    People who have endured suffering and proven God to be faithful are strong,
    mellow and patient. They have the gentleness of Christ. I love to be around
    such people! They encourage my spirit!

    You will come through your trial and be of great help to others if you will
    trust God through it! You will see it happen on your job, in your family, in
    your church. People will be attracted to you because they know what you have
    gone through and they have seen you gain the victory through the power of God
    alone!

    Many believers who suffer never learn anything from it. As a result, they never
    know God as their comforter or consoler. To hear them talk, you would think God
    was hard, spiteful, uncaring. They ask, “Why me?” Then they doubt God’s
    love and begin to turn away from Him. They moan, groan and murmur, and all

    Jackie Macon Jesus said “a tree is recognized by its fruit” (Matthew 12:33). When looking for “fruit,” here are three specific tests to apply to any teacher to determine the accuracy of his or her teaching:

    1) What does this teacher say about Jesus? In Matthew 16:15-16, Jesus asks, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answers, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and for this answer Peter is called “blessed.” In 2 John 9, we read, “Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” In other words, Jesus Christ and His work of redemption is of utmost importance; beware of anyone who denies that Jesus is equal with God, who downplays Jesus’ sacrificial death, or who rejects Jesus’ humanity. First John 2:22 says, “Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.”

    George Washington was a man of faith and prayer. The following is an account of George Washington's vision from an old soldier, Anthony Sherman, who recalled it in 1859 and gave it to Wesley Bradshaw, a writer.

    The vision depicted three great wars on American soil. The first was the revolutionary war, the second was the civil war and the third was a war yet to come. Sherman informed Bradshaw that the vision would soon be confirmed by a second war in America. This came to pass two years later when the Civil War broke out in 1861.

    Washington received the vision at Valley Forge in the bitter, cold winter of 1777. The revolutionary army was facing its darkest hours and most difficult challenge. The bitter cold, disease, and starvation was on the verge of destroying the army and all hopes for independence.

    Sherman's account of Washington's vision was reprinted in December of 1880 by The National Tribune, the U.S. war veterans' paper, and on December 21, 1950 by The Stars...


    THE CRUCIFIED MILITANT

    He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,

    So He opened not His mouth” (Isaiah 53:7).

    Christ was a true militant—
    Fighting for other men’s rights,
    Driving money changers from God’s church
    And letting the oppressed go free;
    Yet He Himself was oppressed . . .
    And afflicted,
    Misunderstood and rejected.
    His own rights were denied Him:
    A jury perjured Him.
    Priests aroused the silent majority
    With lies and half truths.
    He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter.

    And spit on His face.
